NOTICE:
The river is currently low so we are doing a shortened 1 and 1/2 hour float so you may stop at sand bars as long as you want or you can go twice at no additional cost. It's a great float and only one weekend left to enjoy the nice weather! We have also made improvements and you now get out of the river on the Tubers Edge camping area!
The weather will be perfect this week/weekend so we will remain open for anyone who wants to do one more float/campout. RESERVE EARLY THOUGH!

River Float / Tubing in Iowa? | Camping in Iowa? | Read Below!
HOW "IT" WORKS / FAQ's - Please read thoroughly before calling, thanks! NO FIREARMS, NO PETS & NO BAD ATTITUDES BY THE WAY! With all due respect, if you are disprespectful don't bother coming! We have fun here and that is the only option!!!
1. You reserve online picking your date and how many people will be in your group. Your group coordinator will be responsible for making a deposit of $10/person which will be applied towards your fees when checking in at the Blue BYOBBar at Tubers Edge.
2. Your group shows up at Tubers Edge (1962 Sandford Ave. (Hwy. 14) north of Marshalltown) before your requested launch time to set up camp and/or fill out your individual waiver (bring your i.d. please), do a cooler check for ANY glass bottles (not allowed) and load the bus for river floats or walk a couple hundred feet for pond floats.
3. We take you up river, tie up your cooler and trash or dry tubs / tubes, put you in the river and meet you at the end. We go right by Kum & Go on the way back to Tubers Edge so if you need more beverage or supplies we can stop briefly before heading back to play sand volleyball, bags, camp or shuttle to the hotels. We have a water tank to rinse off or you may drive to a public shower house in the park directly across the river.

4. If camping at Tubers Edge we have a few electric spots ($8/day/outlet) and plenty of primitive camping, picnic table/fire rings. You may find other public campgrounds in the area but we recommend ours of course. It is $6/person per night and you pile into your "area/site" how it works best for your group so everyone is together. We do need to balance out the fun with the sleepy time so you must NOT be loud (in any form) from midnightish until 9am at least.

Keep it simple by RESERVING NOW! We will get your message through our contact form, a copy of your deposit receipt paid online and be ready for your group. Also be sure to print and bring your deposit receipt as we are not always able to keep track of everyone at the gate. Call 888.697.5579 if you have questions ONLY AFTER viewing the entire website as we are normally very busy getting ready for each weekend and cannot asnwer phone calls. This is why we answer all important questions in our elaborate website.

Another important notice: If you are the type that thinks we are here for you to complain to or about and that no matter how disrespectful you feel like being the customer is always right, with all due respect, DO NOT COME HERE! We are respectful to everyone but if you are not, you will leave after one warning!!! We are here to have fun and enjoy our business with you and do our very best to make it as smooth as possible but this is, the great outdoors and we have ZERO tolerance with bad attitudes!
Launch Times - We came up with the following (river) launch times to make sure everyone has the most fun while floating with like-minded people! We'll attempt to accommodate all!
Just be here a minimum of 30 minutes before your launch time to get checked in! If your camping come set up shop Friday (4pm to 10:30pm) or Saturday (9am to whenever)... |

Karma Lake Float - It doesn't matter if the river's too high here and we don't flood! We have an on-site POND/LAKE FLOAT 7 days a week! Camp, play volleyball, bags, outside bar/gathering area, BYOB and float on Karma lake for only $10/person, including a cooler tube. Float as a group or if you have children who are not old enough for the river choose the pond float that is normally only 4-5 feet at it's deepest point...

TUBESTOCK - Iowa River Cleanup Initiative WHAT & WHEN?:
Do you like using or seeing the Iowa River... Let's improve the river in Marshalltown!?!? Tubers Edge Camping and River Tubing Resort located across the river from Riverview Park invites citizens, businesses, city and county administration, the fishing community and anyone else who would like to help clean up the Iowa River with us... All of those who help are welcome to join us at Tubers Edge for an appreciation ...party after our efforts! We'll provide the camping, tubing, sand volleyball, bbq pulled pork sandwich and byob for beer pong, bags or whatever you decide to do while your there!
Anyone who helps is welcomed to half price camping and tubing for their efforts and appreciation! We plan to start at Tubers Edge at 9:45, leave by 10am, head up river on the bus/trucks/canoes to hall chain saws, equipment and trash, work our way down stream just beyond the Hwy. 14 bridge where several broken bottles and other debris have been found by fishermen, us and visitors to our city!
STRICT RULES:
NO GLASS BOTTLES! - Our river needs to remain clean and barefoot friendly!
NO FIGHTING!!! ZERO TOLERANCE - (ARRESTED AND BANNED FOR LIFE)
NO PETS! - We cannot have excessive noise keeping other campers awake or stepping in....
NO BAD ATTITUDES! - You wouldn't expect to stay at a resort drunk & disrespectful to staff or customers, you won't stay here either!
